TESTIMONIES
"Coming to NLR has been very good for me in the area of forgiveness. After studying the tree of rejection deeper and doing a daily self inventory I found that the Lord wanted to take me on a journey of forgiveness of myself and my past relationships. Letting go of bitterness and resentments and being able to share openly I felt the Holy Spirit come upon me and bring peace and healing to my soul."
"I've learned to receive His love and forgiveness which has been knocking down the shame I carried for many years. I have also been feeling Holy conviction when I'm tempted which causes me to repent before sinning. It truly feels like freedom!! My guilt after sinning was huge and I felt a weight on me that I finally believe has been lifted up. I'm learning to tell the truth even if it hurts. But I feel freedom. Depression doesn't have hold on me any longer. I look for God's comfort and love in my worst times. I'm learning to accept His Grace and Mercy and Love."
"Thank God for this group. My tree represents change. Here are three ways in which NLR has impacted my life."
"NLR has taught me to take my recovery seriously...that my life is not a game."
"New life recovery has provided a safe and consistent place for me to have honest fellowship with other Christians. The group is meant for people who are struggling with hurts, habits, and hang ups so naturally we are willing to share some of our past and present difficulties. It has also been a place where I receive encouragement through the word of God. I am not alone, God expresses his love for me through this group! Amen!"
