Emergency Warming Center.
January 5th, 2026, when the temperature drops to a life-threatening 15 degrees or below, we open our doors from
7 PM to 7 AM to provide a safe haven for those experiencing homelessness.
During these brutal winter nights, guests are welcomed with a hot meal, the chance to take a warm shower, clean clothing, and—most importantly—a cozy cot where they can rest safely until morning.
It’s more than shelter; it’s a night of dignity, hope, and human connection.
Location: 2704 W. North Ave Chicago, IL 60647
But we can’t do this alone.
We need volunteers to serve meals, offer hospitality, monitor an over night shift, take a load of laundry, and help create a peaceful environment. We also rely on food donations to keep our kitchen running and our guests nourished.
