NEW LIFE FOR WOMEN- RESIDENTIAL AIDE
Full-Time, Live-In Position

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Residential Aide supports the daily operations of our Women’s Program by helping maintain a safe, structured, and supportive residential environment. This role works closely with the Director(s) to assist residents in their recovery journey through supervision, encouragement, and adherence to program guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support residents with daily routines, house responsibilities, and scheduled activities
  • Help maintain a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment
  • Monitor resident compliance with program rules and report concerns to senior staff
  • Provide emotional support, encouragement, and appropriate redirection when needed
  • Assist with documentation, shift reports, and incident reports
  • Support group activities, meetings, and life-skills programming as assigned
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas
  • Respond appropriately to crises following program protocols
  • Uphold confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic computer skills for emailing, zoom calls, scheduling appointments 
  • Experience in recovery, residential programs, social services, or related fields preferred
  • Lived experience in recovery is a plus (if applicable and aligned with program values)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and observation skills
  • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and professional in high-stress situations
  • Must pass background check and any required screenings
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Female applicants only

  • Strong sense of responsibility and integrity
  • Team-oriented with the ability to take direction
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and recovery principles
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Minimum of a one year commitment
